Now, for Long version, I was born in Warrensburg, Missouri on July 18, 1978. I lived there for two years, and then moved to Anchorage, Alaska where I lived for six months. My parents then moved us to Aurora, Colorado in order to be closer to my Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and Cousins. Soon after I started kindergarten, we moved to Seattle, Washington, for a little while, then back to Aurora, Colorado where I moved three more times (that I can remember) till the middle of my sixth-grade year. During this time around seven years old, I gave my life back to God.

During Christmas break of my sixth-grade year we then moved to Elizabeth, Colorado. We lived there for about a year. Then during Christmas break of my seventh-grade year, we moved to Oahu, Hawaii. We lived there for eleven months until the middle of my eighth-grade year, (another mid-year) we moved back to Aurora, Colorado, where I finished Eighth grade and my first year of high school. My Father then decided that it was time to finish his Seminary education, thus we moved to Fort Worth, Texas. As summer ended and school started again, Dad having already started school soon after we arrived, I started my sophomore year at R.L. Paschal High School, where I graduated on May 25, 1996.

On August 29, 1995, I took one of the biggest leaps in my life yet, I joined the Delayed Entry Program of the United States Navy. After graduation and summer vacation I headed on my way to Boot Camp at Great Mistakes (oops Lakes), Illinois. After 8 weeks of training, I graduated from Boot Camp and practically walked across the street to Airman Apprenticeship Training. This class, which lasted two weeks, is where I learned to maintain, fuel, move, launch and recover aircraft. After the two weeks, I was then on my way home for 20 days of leave to spend the holidays with my parents. Nineteen of which I spent working at Arby’s with my Mom. Then as the rest of the world rung in the New Year, I was on a plane on my way to Narita Airport in Japan. Here I joined my first command HSL-51 Lamps. HSL-51 is a Helicopter squadron who assist in finding and destroying enemy submarines as well as performing search and rescue.

During my time there, I served as a janitor, a tool room clerk, and a maintainer of helicopters. 2 years 8 months later, I became a Photographer's Mate Airman, and on August 12, 1999, I left Japan, spent a few weeks at home with my parents and then went to Fort Meade, MD, where for 3 months I learned the basics of still photography. On Dec 17, 1999, I left Maryland and again went home for a couple of weeks.

As the world was holding its breath waiting for the Y2K bug to hit, I was again on a plane on my way back to Fort Worth, Texas, for my second command first as a photomate. During my time there, I was lucky enough to pick up Petty Officer Third Class (PH3), on July 15, 2000. All I can say is what a Birthday present, more money and of course the responsibility to go with it. While at NAS Fort Worth, I meet PH1 Bruce Morris and his family. Bruce, Emily, Stephen and Katherine became like a second family to me, one of which even told a Postman that I was Wayne Morris. In addition, while I was stationed there, I had the joy of hanging out with old friends from high school and attending an awesome church down at the Stock Yards. On October 23 of 2001, I arrived in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where I worked as a Digital Photographer, on my own, as my own boss. Around the end of March 2002 while in GTMO, I started snorkeling and getting out more. It was weird to know that it was March and I could go snorkeling at any time, and not freeze. Well after GTMO, I spent 8 weeks back in Maryland learning Digital Multimedia. Then I spent about a year in Port Hueneme, California, with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3. While there, I was the only Photographer for the Battalion, and worked alongside a Journalist in the Public Affairs Office.

In May of 2004 I separated from the Navy and started my civilian life in Hugo, Colorado at first with my parents then in my own house that I bought in October of 2005 from my parents. During this time, I was working at the Travel Centers of America Gift Shop in Limon, Co, as a Cashier. In February 2006 I moved to La Junta, Co to start school full time. At the end of the Spring semester of the 2008-2009 school year, I finally finished my Associate of Arts, Associate of General Studies and four computer certificates in: Computer Hardware Maintenance; Support; Computer Support Technician; Microsoft Network Administration; and Web Development. Shortly after this I started working on my Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration at Adams State College Distance Learning, but this didn’t last long. On May 16th of 2011 I started working for SECOM as a Network Technician. After 10 years at SECOM it was time for me to move on. Today Nov 8th 2021 I started working as a Support Specialist for the Home Inspection Pro app I still have much to learn, and that everyday I will be learning something new.
