I am
old; I have bluish-green eyes and brown hair, well what’s left of it. I was a Photographers Mate Petty Officer Second Class in the U.S. Navy. I was enlisted for 7 years and 9 months. I am a spiritual non-religious Christian, always looking for answers and questioning life. I have been in church since I was born, though during my 8 years in the navy I only attended church off and on. During my first duty station, I had a bad experience with the military chapel's Protestant service, and after that, I stayed out of church for a while, except for while I was stationed in Fort Worth, Texas. After leaving the Navy and coming home, I got back into church and ran sound for many of them. But I now call my Church home on Twitch at GodSquadChurch.
My main hobbies are PC/Console RPG, Puzzle, adventure and MMORPG games. Along with tabletop or pencil and paper role-playing games. Some of the Role-Playing games that I have played include Earthdawn (my favorite), Shadowrun, Star Wars, White Wolf, Mekton Zeta, RIFTS/Palladium, GURPS, Pendragon, pathfinder and once and a while any of the D&D game systems. I have both run and played Earthdawn and it is by far my favorite system. A majority of these games especially while I was in the Navy these were in person at a big table, or in friend’s living rooms, but for a while now it has been limited to mostly online. When I play online it has usually been text based, Play By email, or yahoo group RPG’s. But of late has been accomplished via Discord. I also used to play myself and a couple other characters on a Star Trek Simm, the USS London. I have been playing Maelthra Suda'Nari a Half Song Dragon/Grey Elf Rogue/Wizard of (8/8) and Myrisa a Kender rogue (12) in a 3.5 D&D/pathfinder game. For some time but those two are currently on hiatus.
As for MMOs, my first was Dark Ages of Camelot, I used to play Star Wars Galaxies, City of Heroes/Villians, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 1 and 2, Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Neverwinter, Scarlet Blade, Perfect World, Atlantica, Elder Scrolls Online, Black Desert Online, and Final Fantasy XIV (which is currently on of the games I am streaming on twitch, to find this follow the white lothcat). I also play Star Wars the Old Republic on the Saber Forge server.
I also read, watch, and write anything Fantasy and Sci-Fi. Here of late I have found a great enjoyment in Christian Sci-fi Fantasy. Some of my favorite writers are Karen Hancock, Bryan Davis, and of course C.S. Lewis, and J.R.R. Tolkien. Another hobby that I have not had the chance to devote much time to; is Renaissance and Celtic Festivals. I enjoy these, as it is a time where people can enjoy and learn things about times past. I also enjoy being able to dress in the period costumes, perhaps a little of the dress up days as a kid still lives on to this day. I have also dabled in the world of Star Wars Cosplay as my original character.
